In August of 2019, we completed an overdue upgrade of our lovingly-worn kitchen.

The kitchen project was managed on a daily basis by DeAnn Schofield. We thank DeAnn for her countless hours in ensuring this project was done to perfection. The project all started one fine summer day when four of our own clubmembers skipped the gym and instead completed the demolition pretty swiftly; thank you, Joe Sarnoski, Pete Van Houten, Dave Marshall and Jeff Eades! All appliances were replaced. The new cabinets were unexpectedly donated by Debra Stone! The countertops and flooring were replaced, while the electric was updated. If you like the new backsplash, that was all Jeffrey Lauver’s handiwork.

The project was funded by a combination of donated materials, time and money, as well as a portion from Club funds.
