FAQ

“Ignorance is a temporary affliction remedied only by asking the right questions.”

1. What is the guest policy for beach access?
The guest policy for beach access is that each family/membership can bring up to 10 guests to the beach. There is no charge for guests. Easement Holders who are not Club Members may not be a guest of a Club Member at the beach, LAC events or other LAC functions. At the discretion of the Board of Trustees, certain functions can be open to all Easement Holders.
2. Is there boat storage and if so is there an additional cost?

Yes; boat storage is available on Lakewood Drive (next to 66 Lakewood Dr). There is no charge for this.

3. For the boat storage, can I leave my boat in the water?

No. So that our lake access can accommodate every neighbor who wants to launch his or her boat that day, we ask that you haul your boat off the water after each use, and store it upside-down, so that no water collects in it. If you are leaving your boat in the water at the boat dock for an hour or so with the intention of returning to it the same day, please dock it securely on the left side of the dock, leaving easy access for other neighbors to launch their boat from the right side of the dock. For the one or two daily rowboat users among our community’s frequent fishermen, exceptions can be made about leaving the rowboat in the water, subject to LAC President’s approval. We ask that all neighbors are considerate and mindful of each other.

4. Can I use electric motors on the lake?
Electric motors are permitted on the lake. Motor boats are prohibited.
5. Are the lakes stocked with fish?

Our lakes have been stocked with fish in the past. The lakes enjoy a vibrant ecosystem with plenty of fish for catch-and-release. If you’re lucky, you’ll find trout, largemouth bass, calico bass, pickerel, perch, sunnies, muskies and a singular legendary koi fish who unfortunately escaped from a pond but who is apparently thriving and growing in the Bay of Deep Waters.
